I had no idea other people had this dream too!  For me it is nearly always my French class at uni.

I dream of the disappointed faces of my teachers, and the stomach numbing fear of the period between exam and the results. Actual nightmare!

Shyah, like your teachers were ever disappointed! ;)

Hahaha! You say that... they so were. Generally after I'd managed to divert their tutorials for half an hour with random talk!

I think I don't dream about it because I lived it... there's still an essay I never handed in. But they let me pass anyway. Fools!

Score! :)

Actually I saw this today and thought of you. (Cos you're a teacher, not cos you're burned out. Obvs)

I never have that dream, but I often have one where I'm suddenly in front of a class who are expecting a lesson, and I suddenly can't talk French at all, and the class has about fifty kids and they're all ages from eleven to eighteen, and some of them don't have desks, and oh, we're in a Science lab not a classroom, and oh, I don't have any trousers on.

I'm spotting a French theme and conclude that French must be scarier than any of us give it credit for.

Sometimes it is also Spanish that I can't speak. But I always have no trousers.

I often dream I've gone out in a skirt and forgotten to do me legs.

Eeh! Weird though innit? So many people having the same dream...
Learning is clearly a very traumatic process.

Haha! And that's why you should keep a notebook by your bed, right there.

I get that dream too, but find that I'm bothered less by it than I used to be. I also dream a lot about being late for work. That bothers me much more. I think this says that I wasn't too bothered about school, but am keen to do a good job now.

I had an alarm clock that my gran got me when I started senior school and the gap in between the rings was *just* long enough for you to think it had stopped. I had SO may dreams where I was pushing buttons to switch it off, then thinking I had, then it makes a noise again etc.

It broke last month and I had to get a new one. I was a bit gutted actually. It was all pink and grey and 80s.
